Business cards
To extend my food revival competition brief I also created designs for business cards which included the logo I created for the competition. I stuck with the orange, white and grey theme to keep the consistency within the brand, and in some versions added in the information to the front of the card. In other developments I used a black instead of grey, but thought this was too harsh, and also in the later experiments included the same picture as I had used in my mock ups of the website. This also did the job of keeping in brand consistency whilst adding some additional interest to the business cards.
For the final design I reverted back to the versions with the block orange background. These versions seemed to work the best and had the most impact. I decided to remove the information from the front of the card as I felt the logo needed to be the biggest boldest feature. Since the business card was bold orange, I altered the background of the mock up I was using to be dark grey to include the brand colours and keep it consistent without altering the actual design. This was useful when it came to presenting the whole project in a PDF pitch.
