As well as open day banner and poster research I wanted to look at examples of the stand up banners being used in other contexts, eg advertising, and general informative posters etc. I thought that doing this would widen my range of research into the banners and how I could use the space in order to create something to fit these boundaries. Also within this section of research I looked at general exhibition and similar promotional advertising, I thought that looking at designs of these would influence the overall style of my eventual designs, without the boundaries of the stand up banner dimensions.
