The website contains the same sections that the quiz will contain - a quiz to determine which party the user sides with, as well as sections on each party, their beliefs and values. Other sections include a social element - by logging in with Facebook I can compare with other friends that have used the site.

The quiz questions themselves are divided into different topics - (social, environmental etc) and have a yes and no answer set, as well as more developed yes/no answers, provided by users themselves. As well as the answers the questions include a scale for users to rate their answers on terms of importance to them - this helps the quiz decide which party is more suited to the user.
The quiz also gives the user the option to view stats and news relating to the topic (see below).
After the quiz is over the results are shown to the user, showing each political party ranked in terms of how much their values correspond with the user. This gives the user a range of options to choose from instead of just 1 definitive party, giving more control to the user. For example, I sided most with Lib Dems from this quiz however I chose to vote for Labour in the general election.
The social side of the site is interesting as it allows you to see which friends you know have similar interests and beliefs to yours - adding a social element allows people to talk about politics more, making it more normal and commonplace for youth and this could help generate more interest and investment into politics, which is the aim of the app.

The parties section of the site list political parties and provide their answers to questions on the major topics and issues. Having all this information to hand allows people to avoid reading lengthy manifestos. The website also includes a section to filter results by political party (e.g Labour), topic (e.g healthcare), and issue (e.g privatisation). Adding this feature allows people to get to the issues they care about. I could add this feature into my app.
The website uses a colour scheme of blues which could be seen as biased as the Conservative party have blue as their colour. As well as this the typeface used is a serif, fairly traditional one and while this may suit the seriousness of politics, if my target audience is mainly youth, the typeface would generally be off putting.
