Kim’s correspondence between venues has had varied results.
To begin with we preferred the Brunswick as the venue for our exhibition (WHY) but after emailing them we discovered that they did not have many dates available.
Our second option, LS6 emailed back with available dates, so we went to take a look at the venue.
Date - 24th April
Price £50 rent.
Space
The hanging system used to display work as you can see in fig * isn't ideal, as it is restrictive and means every piece of work needs to be in the same format, which is A4, and framed. The hanging system means that we can only display work in columns on the wall which is very restrictive when it comes to curating the exhibition.
We are going to email the events team to find out whether we can hang things on the wall using methods that won't stain or damage the wall.
