3. make series of 10 drawings of your object using spreadsheet program (Excel)
1. My first drawing represents the heat/light given out by the lightbulb. The colours change from dark red to dark blue as the distance from the bulb increases, meaning less light and heat are present when you are further from the bulb.
9. Light at the end of the tunnel.
10. Representing a circuit/ current.
1. My first drawing represents the heat/light given out by the lightbulb. The colours change from dark red to dark blue as the distance from the bulb increases, meaning less light and heat are present when you are further from the bulb.
2. This drawing represent advances in technology and the way the world has been brought out of the dark. The entire blue block stands for time and how it has progressed; the darker blue symbolises older times lacking electricity whereas the light blue symbolises more modern years with ease of invention increasing, meaning more light/technology.
3. This is a slightly more obvious drawing with the lightbulb above the figure's head, symbolising a new idea. For this I drew inspiration from my research on Thomas Edison and on the lightbulb placed above the head which is often used in cartoons and stands for innovation.
4. One of the things light represents is hope. The grey block on the left shows a person's mood or level of hope declining. After the light is seen (orange square) the persons mood level rises suddenly and changes to a lighter colour.
5. I looked into light and the way it is processed by the human eye. The light reflecting from an object in the distance is reflected by a flattened lens, which is displayed by top drawing. The bottom drawing, more of a pointed shape is reflected onto the retina by a more rounded lens.
6. Similarly to drawing 1 I focused this drawing on the way a bulb radiates light. The emitted light waves grow bigger as they radiate from the bulb but also dim and become paler.
7. This drawing represents the lit filament in the bulb, and the part of the bulb that supports the filament and holds it up.
8. Drawing 8 is of hanging lightbulbs, inspired by the backdrop in the music video for Zedd and Hayley Williams' song Stay the Night. The lightbulb in the middle is slightly darker to provide some perspective, meaning it is placed further back in the picture.
9. Light at the end of the tunnel.
10. Representing a circuit/ current.
