Studio Brief 2 - Typeface part 13 (Type Specimen)

I chose to layout my typeface in a poster format. I wanted a poster over a book layout as I feel that a poster presents my typeface in more striking way - perfect to compliment the appearance of the typeface.

I chose to use the colour red as it looks regal. The colour reminds me of red carpets and glamour and this reflects the lavish feel of the type. I printed my specimen on high gsm and high quality white paper as I felt the material should reflect my adjective and the appearance of the type.
