Screen - final crit

At the time of the crit I had not completely finished my app - so I presented everything I had so far. I also explained about the app changing colour schemes once the party had been decided.

+ I would use this as I do not understand politics
+ Good features and consistent visuals
- maybe the open screen should also be white? no black in app
- play on the idea of 'parties'

I got some good feedback from the crit which I will either utilise and improve upon my app or consider for future designs and use in the evaluation. In the crit we gave all projects 2 positives and 2 negatives (or things you could improve upon) and I got some really constructive feedback.
The main thing I took away from the crit was that the concept was a really original one and that most of my peers would use the app themselves as they don't know much about politics. This is what I was aiming for so I am happy with this. Another major thing that was mentioned was the way I had tried to bring some fun into the app - playing on the term "parties" which is used in a more serious way in politics. However younger people assume party to mean a social gathering where fun is had. I created the party icon out of balloons as I thought this would be the best way to represent the section, which fits with this idea. The open screen as well with the alternating colours seem to add to this element of fun as well.
