The final magazine is a helpful guide to IBS sufferers which covers causes and lifestyle advice that can help a sufferer to manage their condition. Through the use of pink and red in the colour scheme as well as the sophisticated typefaces the magazine appears feminine, a quality that should be embraced by sufferers. The underrunning message of self care and self love is shown through these features. The photographs and illustrations are the strongest sections of the magazine, with the illustrations interspersed throughout. This breaks up the white space as well as the text and makes the magazine more interesting to look at. The magazine was printed professionally which makes it appear cleaner, however human error was made by not test printing the magazine This meant that the size of the text was slightly too large for the page. Overall I am not happy with the outcome I have produced for this brief which is upsetting because it was a passion project for myself and my collaborators. This was due to the short time frame I gave myself to complete the magazine. I want to redesign this publication so that the magazine reflects its contents more and looks more professional. However this was one of my first attempts at editorial design so this is a learning curve and I will continue to improve.
