After looking at the paper samples sent to me by Printed.com I was able to create an order for my magazine to be printed. I chose to use a 300gsm for the outer cover of the magazine, on silk paper with a matt one sided lamination. For the inner magazine, I chose a 130gsm also on silk paper. This did not have lamination on it as these pages are meant to be thinner and easily read.
To send off the magazine I also had to create a separate document for the cover as well as the inside. I used a spine calculator to add in the width of the spine so that the cover would be the right size to include the inner pages.
