Print - crit feedback

Following the most successful experiment I created a few pages based on this layout and theme - including large scale pictures that span more than one page as well as the justified column of text in the opposing corner.

I am still unsure of the design of the pages, I think they could be improved but am unsure of the direction I want to take it in so in this crit I will gain more feedback to give me improvement ideas.

Feedback
–  good consistency with layout and concept  
– could experiment with colourising pages/images to help with the quality of content provided 
– could experiment with overlapping text and image 
– colour pairing could be more obvious, could experiment with coloured text 
– could incorporate aspect of the lines on the records within layout, continuous curve/line throughout the book e.g. use of bookmark as older people tend to use book marks 

- Scrap the lines and make big titles using the colours from the records. 
- go at least half way over with the images that bleed onto the next page to give it a more incidental feel. 
- consistency throughout is strong
- experiment with larger and smaller text, smaller would utilise the white space and put more focus on the record itself. (Cannot make text too small due to size of publication and ease of legibility.)
- could possibly use the groove of the record to overlay a light watermark over the white space if you want it to incorporate the physical factors of the record more.
