Object final crit

In my crit I presented my poster variations. Still using photographs and filler text to first resolve the layout. I tried to vary layout to gage which would be most successful. On one layout I added to the poster to attempt to make it more visually interesting.

 

Feedback:

colour scheme - yellow text hard to read if being placed on a white background.

is the poster too crowded - no

typography - the typeface works with the rest of the poster

any improvements on layout? - columns and first poster work the best as they have more of an order. the poster needs simplicity and a sort of step by step format

anything I have missed/ improvements in general - add more finer detail, fillers in the white space
Another idea given was to create pictograms instead of using photographs for the bulbs and fittings. Maybe to base them on an isometric grid.

Plan:

alter colour scheme slightly - darker yellow for text to make it easier to read. Using a column or step by step format to make it appear simpler and easier to follow. Add more detail to the poster of the final decided layout similar to the version above. I will need to experiment with pictograms and add in my existing research to finish the poster.
