Objective from Subjective

In study task 1 we created objective symbols from subjective words. My chosen words were ritual (above right), anxiety and ecstasy. Our signs relied on our intepretations of the words.

I really enjoyed this exercise as it allowed me to stretch my capabilities and experiment in a way I hadn't before. 
I chose to experiment with the words ritual as I thought I could play on repetitiveness and the lack of it, as rituals tend to be repeated by people who have them.
I also chose the word anxiety as I am someone who has it, I could identify with the word and really get into the meaning of it. To me, anxiety is something that is always there lurking the back ground and sometimes it takes over, hence my signs showing the black taking over the white.
